The Special Child Exchange Ministries is a grassroots effort connecting parent, teachers, therapists, medical providers, and anyone who is actively involved with disabled individuals on a daily basis. |
|
Our goal is to assist by helping families locate necessary medical
supplies and/or durable medical equipment that is not being utilized or
has been outgrown and may possibly be available in our growing network
of families, therapists, medical providers, and school districts. One of the problems most families face today is the acquisition of costly medical equipment and supplies for their children. Insurance plans sometimes require payment for part or all of the costs. Once the equipment is out-grown or no longer needed, it may be sent to the garage or basement to collect dust therefore ending its life span often while it's still useful. Our premise is the equipment can be donated into our network and could continue to be serviceable for other children for several years. This can effectively reduce costs for families with growing children and limited resources and reduces waste. It may help a child who wouldn't be able to acquire some of this equipment. Our goal is to continue to enlarge the size of this network to maximize our resources and assist as many families as possible. Please join us and help share necessary resources you are no longer using. |
